Description
Digital literacy is increasingly required to access banking, messaging, e-health, and government services,
yet many seniors and non-tech users encounter avoidable errors, long hesitation, and task abandonment in
everyday mobile apps. This paper presents Click2Competence, a privacy-aware assessment-and-tutoring
framework that infers digital skills from multimodal app interaction logs and delivers just-in-time micro
tutorials with minimal friction. The key premise is that interaction traces contain behavioral “UI
biomarkers” that quantify skill-related patterns such as hesitation before committing actions, navigation
backtracks, form validation failures, and error recovery latency.
